First Tomato

I have about a billion other garden photos and posts that should come before this one, including the last years construction of the raised beds, just about this time of year! But, these I took yesterday, so why not start here.  It was such a nice afternoon!  The sun actually came out!  We have, sadly, not had a lot of sun or warm weather this summer, which has affected our crops some.  But there is progress, and the tomatoes are coming….

We also have beets & potatoes that are still in progress, and a second batch of chard just coming up. Peas were great, but are out now. Gardeners, what are you harvesting in your garden right now?
