Lonnie & I have been married 8 years, and have known each other for 17. Thats a LONG time! We first met as sophomores in high school. We had French class together, and I hid in the corner trying not to be called on, while he tried to use phrases he learned while playing rugby & hanging out in bars after games in Benin. We started dating our senior year. Here was graduation day (Lonnie ditched his gown the minute the ceremony was over, before the photo ops, haha).
Wedding day, 7 years later (at my parents house in Vancouver, Wa):
Here we are today. I couldn’t find any pictures of just us, without the kids! Ah well.
We celebrated tonight by going out for an awesome meal at Shadowland, here in West Seattle. It was delish! I am sooooooo lucky to be married to such a fabulous husband, father & friend and count my blessings every day because of it. Bring on another year, I can’t wait!

Happy Anniversary! How cool to have been together since High School.
It isn’t fair that you are just getting more beautiful as time passes. What wonderful pictures and memories. So much has happened that has made you stronger as a couple. God bless you. I miss talking to you more but check your blog several times a day.
