Thanksgiving Reprise

I didn’t really post about T-day (since I try not to advertise when we are not home!), so here’s a brief summery of how it went. Pretty well!  We had a great drive down to Vancouver (WA) and back — the kids are all turning into really decent car travelers now! Its great to not have to try to time things EXACTLY right in terms of naps and feedings and such — they are a lot more flexible these days.  Though they did sleep for much of the way both times, woohoo!  It was only a 2.5 hour drive both ways, though, thanks to awesome timing and very little traffic.  Yeah!

We had lots of fun hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, too!  Lots of playing with new and different toys, some fun walks to the park, a visit to see Real Live Chickens (where my mom gets eggs), plus a visit to OMSI (science museum) and Powells (just me and Grandpa).   And of course a fabulous dinner including my favorite — cheese green bean casserole, ha ha! The only bad part of the trip was the HELLISH sleep that we had thanks to being in a new/different place.  Luckily, after a few days they seem to be back on track (knock on wood!).

Here are a few pictures (more starting here in the Nov gallery).

Yep, we’re still rearfacing!
