I wrote a nice post about this this weekend and the computer ate it. Doh. This one will be quick as I am supposed to be paying bills. Ha.
Anyway, we found a house!!!! And its in our current neighborhood (which we like) probably a half mile away. It was hugely overpriced and therefore sitting on the market since last June, but we made an offer and they came down for us. Yahoo! We are having the inspection today and hopefully all will go well with that. It would be such a relief to have the house hunting done! If the inspection negotiations go well, the next thing will be rushing the financing through (both ours and our current house’s buyers) which is taking longer these days due to all the refinancing going on. But, we might be able to move in around the first week of April, which would be great! The sooner the better, for our current situation, that is for sure.
In baby news, all is going smoothly. At our last appointment, the babies were measuring 2lbs and 2lbs1oz, which is totally on track and even above average, I think, for singletons! No signs of pre-term labor, and since I am at a low risk for that because of my previous pregnancy, it is looking like May will be our month. Woo hoo! 36 weeks is the average length of gestation for twins, which puts us at May 10th. The latest I will go before being induced is May 24th. Mono/di twins do tend to come earlier than average though (so, before 36 weeks) due to issues of growth and placental failure, but we’ll see! Also, if they continue to measure big, there is a chance they will induce me earlier as well. In any case, it is looking like Emma may not get that fancy pony-in-the-backyard birthday party (ha!) but it is likely there will be a lot of folks around to celebrate her two-ness, nonetheless! I forsee some crazy trio birthday bashes in the future!
PS, a few new photos up, both in the 20 and 21 month folders. Sorry we haven’t been taking many pictures lately!

Hooray! We’ve been really praying and hoping for a house find – we’ll keep our fingers crossed that all goes well, including the financing rush, and that you are all moved in a month from now! We are actually moving in this week – exciting for us!
Love the good news on the twins – hard to believe they still are that tiny – big growth spurt comes at the end, I guess.
Melt your heart adorable pictures of Emma! thanks for sharing. Love Kims Staking family
Congrats on the house.
I’d love to meet you, Emma and your future twin girls. We should all get together sometime soon… we’d be happy to help you out with the TTTS stuff.
